Jacks or Better
Draw
5 Card Draw - Jacks or Better
Players: 3-7
Initial Deal: 5 cards dealt down to each player.
Betting:
Ante Recommended.
Trips to Win:
You have to have Jacks or better to open but trips or better to win the game. If no one has trips or better then re-ante and deal again.
Progressive:
If nobody can open, the requirement increases to a pair of Queens, then Kings, then Aces, then goes back to Jacks, etc. For a longer game combine Trips to Win with Prograssive
Wild Cards:
Choose a wild cards before the hand begins (dealers choice).
Double draw:
After the first exchange and subsequent betting, there is another exchange and betting round.
After the Initial deal betting begins with the player to the left of the dealer. The player can only open betting if they have a pair of Jacks or better in their hand. For most betting I recommend the initial bet and 3 raises maximum. Bet and raise amounts equal to the ante. This keeps the betting under control.
Play:
If no player has Jacks or Better to open re-ante and re-deal.
After the betting round, each player may exchange up to three cards starting with the player to the left of the dealer. Another round of betting ensues, followed by the showdown.
