Pimples
Stud
Players: 3-7
Initial Deal: Seven cards down to each play (no peek)
Betting: Ante if desired.
As in many no peek games, 1st player flips cards until the acheive a pimple (explained below)
Play:
Pimples: Are the spots in the center column of a card. Aces have 1 pimple (PIP) in the middle column. A 2 and 2 - 3 has 3, a 4 has no pimples since there are no marks in the center column just the left and right columns. Face cards have no pimples.
A two has 2 Pimples (pips) in the center of the card | A 4 only has pips on the outside of the cards so has no pimples | Depending on the maker a 9 can have 1 pimple as above or can have 3 rows of 3 pips showing 3 pimples in the middle row |
The player to the left of the dealer flips one card over or more until a pimple is on the card. Since that is the highest pimple card showing the player can bet. The next player will begin to turn cards over until they have a higher pimple count hand. They then stop and bet. This continues around the table from player to player each beating the past player. A player can drop at any time if they feel they can not beat what is showing. A player must beat the previous player. If they tie the number of pimples they can not win since the first player to reach a number has that number of pimples. Players must beat the count to win the pot.
Winner: Player with the most pimples. No ties - first player with # of pimples wins.
